About the book
The book systematically investigates the varied extent of transgenders via socio-economic, political, human rights and media issues. In researching the problems of transgender persons in society and media, the empirical and methodical inquiry has been accomplished through various research papers and analyses. The book is a sincere endeavour to elucidate and create a new discourse on transgender seeking the fundamental queries from the society as to why transgender persons have been excluded and marginalised over a period of time from the mainstream society, and why they have not been considered as other human beings or like the rest two genders. Seeking such answers from the society and the media, researchers have been debated with various aspects of transgenders in this book.
