About the book
This volume aims to explore the intricate relationship between literature and conflict, shedding light on how tumultuous times take shape and are shaped by literary expression. By examining a diverse array of texts, the volume tries to highlight the ways in which literature responds to, reflects, and even anticipates moments of crisis. It delves into the role of writers as both witnesses and commentators, whose works serve to document and interpret the chaotic and transformative periods in which they live. The volume also attempts to consider how literature offers pathways toward peace and understanding, envisioning new possibilities in the aftermath of conflict. The chapters in this collection will contribute to the ongoing discourse on the power of literature to influence, reflect, and respond to the human condition in the face of adversity
