Abstract
Dalit consciousness plays a prominent role in Dalit literature. The experiences articulated in Dalit literature are individual and those of the community. The Dalit consciousness in Dalit literature is the revolutionary mentality connected with the struggle. There are two definite aspects of Dalit consciousness namely the acceptance of humans and humane values in life. This paper is a humble attempt to study Dalit consciousness reflected in a Marathi Dalit autobiography
