Biography

Professor Vibha Sharma, a PG &Ph.D.(Psychology) from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra & M.Phil. in Medical & Social Psychology from CIP Ranch is a licensed Clinical Psychologist by Profession and is currently Head of the Department of Clinical Psychology at the Institute of Human Behaviour & Allied Sciences (IHBAS), in Delhi (India). She joined IHBAS in 2004, after serving as Senior Lecturer at St. John’s College Agra for 6 years. She has around three decades of experience in teaching, training, research, clinical work, and supervision. Her major achievements include five awards; around 100 publications in National and International Journals; an edited book on “Clinical Neuropsychology” and around 20 chapters in reference books. She is being invited as a resource person in seminars, conferences, workshops, etc; and also, to deliver talks and lectures by various Government and Non-Government Organizations and Universities. She has been appointed as a P.G., M.Phil., and Ph.D. examiner by various universities and Institutes. She is a member of 18 scientific bodies and a member of the Editorial Board of 3 National Journals. She has supervised many students for their Ph.D. & M.Phil. theses. She is actively involved in Mental Health Awareness programs in the community and is also invited as a Mental Health Expert by many agencies. Areas of her Special Interest are Positive and Spiritual Psychology; Women Mental Health; Neuropsychology; Adolescent and Adult Mental Health issues; Hypnotherapy etc.
