(Un-)Earthly Echoes

An Anthology of Poetry

by Hem Raj Bansal and Shruti Sharma

2026

About the book

(Un-)Earthly Echoes: An Anthology of Poetry is a collective celebration of voices, visions, and lived experiences. Bringing together eighty original poems by eight poets namely Isha Singhal, Pallavi Minhas, Shailja Sharma, Abhyudita Gautam, Prajya Mishra, Roshan Lal Sharma, Hem Raj Bansal, and Shruti Sharma, the anthology traverses the intricate landscapes of human existence. The poems explore themes of love, loss, identity, memory, womanhood, social justice, ecology, hope, resilience, belonging, and the enduring relationship between humanity and nature. Moving seamlessly between the personal and the universal, the collection reflects on contemporary realities while remaining deeply-rooted in emotional and philosophical inquiry. Rich in imagery and diverse in style, the poems capture moments of silence and celebration, anguish and healing, despair and renewal. As suggested by its title, (Un-)Earthly Echoes resonates with both the tangible experiences of everyday life and the intangible longings of the human spirit, inviting readers to pause, reflect, and discover echoes of their own journeys within its pages. About the Editors Shruti Sharma is an Assistant Professor of English presently posted at Government College Shahpur (Kangra) Himachal Pradesh.
