The Poetry Almanac

The Poetry Almanac brings out the significant moments of our lives as poets – our joys, sorrows, and moments that hold a special place in our hearts. Each month is described vividly and personalized with a touch of whimsy. We offer stories that are dear to us, inviting the reader to ponder about similarities we may share. The wistfulness, anxieties and past memories are subtly illustrated through words. There is a touch of surrealism as you picture the scenes of festivities across states as we take you through the year. Whether it's the fragrance of roses and chocolates in February, the April full moon, melodies of Christmas carols, or Marghazhi Sabhas that echo in the cool air; you're reminded that bad times do pass, and every end has a fresh beginning. The spiritual vibes and imagery compels, as you visit Holi, Independence Day, Diwali, and Christmas, experiencing changing seasons with the turn of each page. From seasonal occurrences to significant days such as World TV Day, our poems voice our thoughts and emotions, evoking nostalgia. We hope that the resonance of our verses will retain a place in your hearts, well after the seasons have passed, and the year is over!
