The Original Heroes (Book III) - The African Campaign

Book III in The Original Heroes’ series finds Athena, with her trusty warrior Chyrsaor by her side, gathering a new band of heroes including Nyuli the African Queen, Beku the slayer of giants, and a small Roman army. They embark upon a journey to rid Egypt of what is left of its monsters and strange gods including Horus, the Falcon God; Anubis, the Jackal God; Serquet, the Scorpion Goddess; and Selchmet, the Lioness Goddess. In between are magnificent gladiatorial fights in Alexandria’s arena followed by epic clashes with ferocious lions, monstrous scorpions, an evil sphinx, and a giant desert horned viper - all followed by not one, but two spectacular ending battles in the desert.
