About the book
The world today is torn by conflicts and wars. My poems are a reflection on what is happening around- genocide, food crisis, state sponsored terrorism etc. I have attempted to eulogise on them from a humanitarian angle. Rather than blaming each other, it would be challenging to look for solutions. The pathetic reality of the world wide situation cannot be ignored. On a personal note after grieving for more than two years on my husband's death, l have come to terms with the trivial aspects of life. Though l have encountered a long stage of silence, l can only say my past has made me stronger if not a better person. Poetry has become my refuge as well as my vocation and as my faith is alive l wish to discover social justice or nyay in our journey of life.
