Sinha's Phonological Assessment

This is an assessment tool meant for the speech/ language pathologists for them to test any kind of articulatory deficiency in Hindi. This is based on phonological principles as the sounds to be tested are placed in initial, medial, and final positions in words used in sentences. Each stimulus is presented separately along with a line drawing of the events/situations having been described in the sentences. The mode of presentation and recording the responses are clearly explained. A separate list of words is also provided with all possible consonantal combinations in Hindi to be tested. This test should be treated as a draft. The testers may please contact the author and inform him about each test result along with his/her honest feedback in order to enable him to statistically analyze the results and accordingly prepare a final version of the test, his e-mail ID being: nk.sinha1114@yahoo.com
