About the book

Redefining India's Foreign Policy in the 21st Century: Regional Priorities and Global Aspirations, an edited volume, provides a thorough and critical analysis of India's changing foreign policy in the face of significant changes in world politics. India's foreign policy has drastically changed from the moral-ideological framework of Cold War non-alignment to a pragmatic strategy of multi-alignment based on strategic autonomy, national interest, and global responsibility as the international system gradually moves toward multipolarity. This book uses rigorous scholarly investigation and policy-oriented viewpoints to capture and analyse that transition. This book offers important insights into India's vision as a developing global actor by placing its foreign policy within the larger framework of globalisation, technological advancement, and shifting power dynamics.
