Parent–teen Dynamics

Parenting in the twenty-first century has become increasingly complex. Technology, changing family structures, social media, shifting cultural values, and new educational environments have transformed parent–teen relationships. This edited volume offers an interdisciplinary exploration of these changes. Contributors from India and abroad examine adolescent mental health, emotional well-being, digital parenting, identity, communication, education, gender, media influence, cultural change, family resilience, and social challenges faced by young people. About the Editors Dr. Swati Chauhan is Professor and HOD, Department of English, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research & Studies (MRIIRS), Faridabad. She holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in English Literature and has 23 years of teaching experience. She guides PhD scholars, with six PhDs awarded under her supervision. She has published 58 research papers, edited five books, presented papers at national and international conferences, and holds three utility patents. She has received the Academic Excellence Award (2022) and Karmeshu Kaushlam Award (2024). Swati Mittal is a Research Assistant and Research Scholar in the Department of English, MRIIRS, Faridabad, and an MRIIRS Doctoral Research Fellow. She holds a master's degree in English from J.C. Bose University, where she was a Gold Medalist and received the Dean Merit Award. She completed her undergraduate studies at Deshbandhu College, University of Delhi.
