Every area of life and society is now influenced by ICT in some manner and in this sense, education is no exception. The higher educational process is currently in transition phase with old approaches being challenged in favour of the incorporation of digital technologies in the teaching, research and learning process. ICT has been recognized as a potentially effective instrument for educational trans-formation and reform because it helps to increase educational quality by making teaching-learning and research a more engaging, exciting, and dynamic process. ICT-assisted teaching-learning and research acknowledge that there are many different learning paths and different methods of articulating and manifesting knowledge as it empowers concerned to investigate and discern. Almost every developed and developing country is concentrating to create an ICT environment and train concerned to function well with ICT integration in education.
