Nanoremediation

The main objective of this scholarly anthology “Nanoremediation: Materials and Technologies for Environmental Clean-up” Volume 1, is to instigate genuine research works for suggestive insight into the considerable content of nanoremediation (nanomaterials, green synthesis methods, emerging technologies, perspective applications) and to facilitate the dissemination of knowledge among academicians, researchers, and entrepreneurs. The proposed work will include a detailed approach to the different remediation procedures (utilizing various nanomaterials: inorganic materials, carbon-based materials, and polymeric-based materials), and emerging technologies (based on adsorption, absorption, chemical reactions, photocatalysis, and filtration) for the removal of contaminants from different environmental media (air, soil, and water). This work also includes the practical application of nanotechnologies that must be helpful for environmental organizations and agencies to explore new and more effective ways of doing things, both now and into the future as nanotechnology becomes more common. About the Authors Dr. Suresh Kumar earned his Ph.D. in Physics & Materials Science (2014) from Jaypee University of Information Technology, Solan, India. He also holds an M.Phil. (Physics), M.Ed., M.Sc. (Physics), and B.Ed. Degrees from reputed Indian universities. Currently serving as Associate Professor (G-II) in the Department of Physics, Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University), Mullana, Haryana, he brings over 20 years of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience. Dr. Jatindra Kumar Pradhan is an environmental microbiologist with over a decade of experience in biomineralization research and environmental microbiology. He is presently serving as an Assistant Professor in Zoology at Government Autonomous College, Phulbani, within the Department of Higher Education, Government of Odisha.
