About the Authors Dr. Jalpa Rana is working as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of English at Government Arts College, Gandhinagar affiliated to Gujarat University, Gujarat. For her doctorate, she has specialized in Indian Women's Poetry and Confessional writing. Her research interests include English Language and Literature, Indian Literature, American Literature, and Women Studies. Apart from teaching for more than ten years at UG and PG levels, she has published several research articles and book chapters in refereed journals and books of National repute. Ms. Gayatri Rameshchandra Parmar (M.Phil., NET, GSET) is a research scholar pursuing her Ph.D. in Indian Diaspora from the School of International Studies and Diaspora, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. Since 2016, she has been serving as an assistant professor (contractual) at Government Arts College Gandhinagar. She has completed her M.Phil in Indian Diaspora. To date, her six research articles have been published in International Peer-reviewed Journals, and one chapter in ISBN book. She has presented three research papers at international conferences.
