Khusrau Parviz and Shirin

Khusrau Parviz and Shirin, Sibtain Beg’s first play, explores love blossoming between Persian King Khusrau Parviz, and Arminian princess Shirin in diverse colours. The reign of Khusrau Parviz was considered golden period of Persian Sasasinan history. The play revolves around the axis of Sasasinan rule (from 590-628 A.D.) and culminates with the tragic deaths of both the hero and heroine.
