In-between Selves (Poems)

Suffused with gorgeously austere language and piercingly meditative metaphors, Nabanita Sengupta's debut collection 'In Between Selves' is a “strangely liberated” introspection on the fragile, floral and fragrant fragments of contemporary city life. Speaking uncannily to quotidian, unexpected, and also forbidden 'folds of hijabs and dupattas', her poetry is a mythic and mimetic symphony of forest of desires in multilingual tongues, tender, tensile, and whimsical at once! -----– Ashwani Kumar
