Gladiator Warrior

Biju Patnaik led a life of incomparable valour. He showed his doughty instincts in variegated roles- a daredevil pilot, a consummate politician who made lurid headlines with off-the-cuff remarks, a die-hard reformist, a man with a passion for industrial reforms and a true son of the soil who never deserted the cause of Odisha and Odias. The book takes readers through an insightful peek into the life of the ‘Tall Man’, enriching us with his unchallenged contributions to nation building and public life and demystifying lesser known nuggets of his infectious persona. The deceased leader continues to inspire and elevate us as much after his death as in his lifetime. In every Biju acolyte nestles his ideals and for every aspiring leader, he still stands tall like a Colossus.
