The book Analytics with Python is a comprehensive guide designed to equip readers with the essential skills and knowledge to leverage Python for data analysis and visualization along with concepts of machine learning.The book has been structured according to the syllabus of the Skill Enhancement Course (SEC) at the University of Delhi, aligning with the guidelines of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The book is organized into eight chapters and each chapter is accompanied by hands-on exercise and examples. Chapter 1 lays the foundation with an exploration of the basics of Python programming. In chapter 2, we delve into Python’s decision statements and functions, essential components for creating logical structures and reusable code.Chapter 3 expands the toolkit by introducing Python libraries and database connectivity.Chapter 4 is dedicated to NumPy, a fundamental library for numerical computing in Python. Chapter 5 covers Pandas library, renowned for its ease of use in data manipulation and analysis. Chapter 6 familiarizesreaders with data visualization, exploring techniques to represent insights visually using Python’s powerful plotting library Matplotlib. In chapter 7, readers will gain a foundational understanding of Machine Learning concepts and in chapter 8, we explore regression analysis, a fundamental technique for modeling relationships between variables. About the Authors Hunny Gaur is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Department of Computer Science, Maitreyi College, University of Delhi. She completed B.Sc. (Information Technology) from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu. She earned MCA and MTech (Information Security) from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. Dr. Shikha Gupta is an Associate Professor at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, University of Delhi.
