A Slice of Sky and other Poems

“Smooth crimson of love and life! With the treasures of life and the measures of love; to bath the path of the truth with righteous works. The floating mind of Madam Namita Rani Panda! A Slice of Sky with her muse; a slice of the sky with her POETRY!! A warm embrace of the truth with her works. Read her poems and be touched with her lovely heart of love and life; with the romance of nature.” – Edward Kofi Louis (Bard/Artist ) Accra, Ghana “No words of mine can appropriately express the greatness of Mrs Namita Rani Panda and her craft as a poet. Her anthology A Slice of Sky is impregnated with such tenderness and warmth stemming from her beautiful thoughts and innermost feelings that each poem is irresistibly captivating. A poem of hers is most often a cool balm for a wounded heart. Poems like Drop of Tear, My Echo, My Mute Words, You-2, Love from Heaven can never be forgotten. After reading her poems, I felt like someone tortured on a steamy summer day taking a much-needed plunge in a cool calm transparent pool. Great, fantastic, brilliant etc are the words one might use to praise her creations. However, I call them the sweetest.” – Chittaranjan Dash, Programme Officer, INSERURP, an Indian story writer and poet in English
