Unlike art forms like Music, Dance, Painting, or Singing that rely, as in Music, for example, on instruments like the violin, piano, sitar, etc.; or in the Dance, on elaborate movements of the body and limbs and on facial expression to convey to the audience emotion and feeling; or in Painting, through use of the brush and various colour effects to communicate different kinds of sentiment; and in Singing, the use of the vocal chords producing loud or subdued sound for the listeners to be deeply moved – in contrast to all of the above, Poetry employs only words (which can be found in the Dictionary and which we constantly use) but the poet's dexterity transforms them into an unforgettable experience for the reader.
