1946 Genocide

1946 Genocide is a tear-jerking collection of poems by Dr. Ratan Ghosh that brings alive the untold stories of pain, separation, loss, and death. It seems like Dr. Ghosh dips his pen in blood and tells the heartbreaking stories of the “Great Calcutta killing” when thousands of Hindus were massacred in the massive Hindu-Muslim riots. His pain is evident when he says, “I can’t sleep well for years since the tales of my memory lane…from my blood-stained bed….” The collection of this book will retell the lesser-known history to the world. ------ Dr. Meenakshi Mohan, (U.S) Academic, Writer, Critic, Poet and Artist
